My "Philosophical" Nephew..&& Then Some .

This brief yet kind of funny conversation took place in our car which my eldest brother was driving [ date : April 16, 2oo8 ] . His girlfriend [ the birthday girl / the mother of my nephew ] was seated beside the driver`s seat while my nephews were beside me . My nephews && I were behind my eldest brother . Thad, my younger nephew, was making really loud noises with his brother .

My brother`s girlfriend :
In Filipino = Thad, huwag maingay sabi ni Papa Jesus .
In English = Thad, the Lord Jesus said that you should keep quiet .

In Filipino = Di ko man siya narinig, Mommy .
In English = I didn`t hear Him, Mommy .

Hmm, April 16 . That was the day I was scheduled to take the A.C.A.T. [ Ateneo College Admissions Test ] . That test was kind of easy but tiring . There were a loooooot of test items , especially in English [ grammar , sentence correction , paragraph analyzing && those kind of things ] .

When I took the test , I noticed there were only 3 Ateneans who took it [ including me ] . Hmm . I kind of thought that A.C.A.T. is a rip-off for the Ateneans who already passed the C.S.A.T. [ College Scholastic Ability Test *I think @_@* ] . I mean , I was already enrolled when I took the A.C.A.T. So what`s the use of it ? What`s more , the payment for the A.C.A.T. costs P25o . Tssssk .

Anyway , Imma talk about the brighter side of things now [ :D ] . After I took the A.C.A.T. , my eldest brother && I went to Picobello in Gaisano South Mall for the birthday celebration of my brother`s girlfriend . 8 slices of Con Salcice && *I forgot XD* after , I felt better about the A.C.A.T. .So weh ? XD

BTW , I know this post is quite random . Oh well . I feel quite random today :)

Never Ending, Uhm.. Endings .

Woosh . I haven`t written in my blog for quite some time now . So here are some updates :

Throwing Away My Army Greens ?
To summarize everything up , the Ateneo High school had the Joint Scouting && CAT Closing Ceremony last Friday , March 14, 2oo8 . It meant that us officers had graduated && is free of our duties . Weh XD

The fun came after the ceremony . Us officers had our "salu-salo" / get together . We had a program full of "performances" && award giving . The best performance was from the guy officers . They danced the Soulja Boy && had "joke time" . Haha . Every officer was given an award .. Mine was "San Pedro`s award" / "St. Peter`s award" . Kudos to Sir Lactaoen for that @_@

But although I`m ecstatic that I finally have no more responsibilities in CAT [ as if I have a really tiring job , I`m only the 2nd Battalion`s S1 XD ] , I will really miss all the moments us officers had together . Through all the one hour or more in attention , memories as trainees , all the corrective measures we`ve received , all the wounds we received [ Silent Drill haha ] , or whatnot , I thoroughly enjoyed every moment . COCC-01 [ minus two ] has finally graduated . Woohoo ! But I don`t think Imma through my army greens just yet ;]]

I truly had fun ! It was the best , most memorable , second && last prom ever . I even became a nominee / candidate for Prom Queen . [ @_@ ] Now that was totally unexpected XD

My tablemates are as crazy as ever . I won our eating contest . I finished all of the food in my plate . Talk about glutton eh ? @_@

MIRAI`S DRAMACHINE FINALLY HITS THE ONE - ZERO - ZERO POST :D

Whew ! My hundredth post here in my so called "blog" . I never thought I`d reach this . I`ve also decided to stay here && to not delete this , despite the "memories" . Hmm... What to write , what to write [ or what to type XD ]

First thing`s first ! UPDATES . Weh .

Cupid Gave Me My Own Spiderman
When I heard [ or read ] that Mr. Ebony was giving up , Ms. Ivory [ I ] did too [ without me realizing it ] Eow . But then , Stupid Cupid hit my poor && unconscious heart waaaay before Valentine`s Day . It was around early January when I officially met "him" [ nickname : three ] . I think I`ve met him since I was still a Sophomore , because he was my good friend`s *cough* classmate .

Anyway , around January 8 or 9 , we were introduced to each other . Needless to say , we really hit off , even though we "just met" . We talked mostly about computer games . Suddenly my bestfriend [ Ms. Smowl ] said that I was a pervert *but she actually said manyak* [ I totally LOL at that~ XD ] . Mr. Three just laughed . When it was time for me to go home , Mr. Three said : "Bye Jamanyak!" . I`ll never forget that . But then , he had a girlfriend . So I was kinda down about that . I could safely he was my bestfriend...a really sweet one . We played Flyff together .[ I influenced him ] . I was sooooo comfortable with him cuz I could be myself . So to cut the story , Cupid broke off the arrow between Three && his gf && hit me instead . Waaaaa (:

V-Day , May-day [ ? ]
Well well well . I never thought I`d be super duper really totally 1ooo% this much happy during Valentine`s Day [ a.k.a. Single Awareness Day ] . Starting from the fact that I got to be a student teacher during that day , that was already more than enough to make me jump for joy [ lmao ] . I taught Chemistry in the 3 - Pignatelli classroom [ a.k.a. my promdate`s classroom ] && in the 3 - Borgia classroom [ where Deanno`s && Donico`s promdates are ] . I had fun during the Chemistry sessions because I was with my co-teacher , Raymond Binoya [ third year classmate ] . We gave a 2oo item quiz to the class ! Weh ! [ It`s okay if we are bombarded with the word "sadists" . lol ]

I got to "teach" in my own classroom too ! My classmates && I just had our research for Physics in the I.T. Lab . I let them surf the net . Weh XD

The other thing that made me so happy was just a simple rose . It was just one , surely bought outside the gates of our school . What made it special was that Mr. Three gave it (: ♥

Promenade , You Say?
In just T - some hours , our batch is going to experience our second && last Prom . I agree with my buddy , I`m not that excited . I just want our periods to be shortened because of the practice XD . I was actually grateful for the Prom practice cuz it gave us a chance to "bond" with our promdates . Moreover , my tablemate`s my good friend && classmate [ Miki ] .

1st Practice : Miki , Joeann , Jairah && I just kept on talking with each other . We didn`t talk to our promdates at all . [ lol ]
2nd Practice : Backstab session with our promdates ! `Twas fun though . First "bonding" session XD
3rd Practice : Ugh , the sunlight was trippin` on us . During the first part of the practice Our table [ 23o ] was moved to the front . We already have nicknames for each other :

I just found out yesterday that I passed the CSAT [ Yey for me ] . I am now officially legible to enroll as a student in the Ateneo de Davao Jacinto campus . What`s the course I am taking up , you ask ? Let`s just say I`m readying a lot of hankerchiefs because I`d be immersing my self in the world of Math && numbers . That is teh l33t [ XD ]

B.S. Whaaat ?
Ahm no , the meaning of B.S. in my update title is not Bachelor of Science . It`s BUSY SUMMER . I just realized that I`ll be hella busy this vacation season .

Ugh . In two to three weeks , us Seniors will take the last 6 or 7 exams in our High School life . In two months [ ? ] , we will leave behind the green [ ? ] fields of our Alma Matter , Ateneo de Davao University . Honestly , I do not want to graduate yet . My bros say that that`s just a natural feeling . High School`s so fun-filled . I wouldn`t wanna trade this memory for anything else . [ Fudge , I`m getting emo O_O ] . I remember my 1 - Borgia days[ still FRESH XD ] .. 2 - Gonzaga [ Honor`s class ftw @_@ ] moments .. 3 - Canisius memories [ my MOST fun-filled year ] .. my time spent in 4 - Gonzaga . Awww .

That`s not what you think it is . It`s just the name of my group of friends whom I hang out with most of the time . We are called PDA because always tease each other of doing PDA [ Public Display of Affection ] . Every girl has a guy "partner" in the group . We`re only 6 members but we have a lot of fun together . Soooo ... My first idea of my Graduation gift didn`t pull through . It was a trip to Japan . Then my mom said that a trip to Japan is like a trip to a country in Europe . So NVM [ T_T ] . I had finally thought of an alternative Grad. gift , a Playstation Portable .

I am totally in love with PSP`s [ don`t mark me as weird though ] XD I mean , it`s like an iPod , with 1ox the power . You can play games , watch movies , listen to music , surf the internet or connect with other PSP users through WLAN . It`s pretty cool for me . && I`m just sorta kinda jealous of my bro who has a PSP [ XD ] .

The Take Over , The BREAK`s Over !!!

Well , this blog post`s about what happened to me just a year ago . Exactly at this time && on this date . [ January 31 . 5.3o PM ]

I actually don`t know why I`m making this blog post . I think I just want to let my feelings out from my past . I`ve moved on though *duhrrrr* It`s just time for me to let this thing out . Normal acquaintances do not know this about me. .

Well..... *I won`t bother with the minuscule && unimportant details*
When I was still a happy && contented Junior *June `o7* , someone crossed through my roads. .&& that person was the least expected one that I would meet . He was cool . He was nice . He was handsome . He had a nice voice . He was quite friendly . . && he was the person whom I`ve hated since I was in 1st year . I hated him because of his arrogance . But his movements && actions told me that he was "interested" . So I brushed off my old prejudices of him && I tried to get to know him better .

So , *stupid me* I fell in love . I`m not sure why or how , I just did . I guess I was held under the charm of his personality . *stupid me again* . So during October `o7 , "it" was official .

The blissful ride didn`t last long though . Like normal human beings , he had bad habits . VERY bad habits . I tried changing them but no , I still couldn`t . That`s one thing we don`t see eye to eye on . Also , I was quite a jealous person . Envy seeped into my veins like dangerous poison .

&& oh , there`s also one more thing : He`s not fairing well with his academics .

So that was my situation with him . It wasn`t long until one of us broke it off , && it wasn`t me . He said he needed to concentrate on his studies [ He has a flat 74 in his Math subject ] && he`s got no more time for me [ he`s a busy Senior *daw* ] . Weird enough , I was okay with that .

Though he did all that he could , he never did got to march during their Graduation . He had summer classes while I was at the field with my batchmates for C.A.T. Summer Training .

So I`m just over everything . It just took me a little less than two months . I thought my heart would be longing for him but no , it didn`t . && I`m glad :)

The 14th of January, 2oo8 .
It is on that day that someone close to my heart turns seventeen . He`s one of the best listeners I know . He sticks up to the saying "Patience is a virtue" . Recently , he`s been helping me with "love" problems . . .

Who is this person , you ask ? Well , he`s none other than my "Kuya" , Rendell Jed G. Tagalog (:

We met way back when we were still Sophomores . We were put *unluckily* in the Honor`s Section [ 2 ~ Gonzaga ] . I don`t really remember how we became close , I just know that around the 3rd Quarter, we were inseparable . I nicknamed him "Kuya" because his birthday`s on January XD

Sadly , when we became Juniors , we don`t spend time much with each other anymore . We just have those occasional "Hi"`s with each other. .

I`m glad we became classmates this school year . We rebuilt our once-close friendship && now we`re as close as ever ^^

I just send my best wishes && blessings to my ever dearest "Kuya" on his birthday . I know he`ll have a bright future ahead of him . He`s one of my guy friends whom I keep close to my heart . I`m sure God will shower him with more blessings :]

Everybody`s in a [ prom ] Frenzy @_@

Damn it . I just found out that the raffle would be this Wednesday , January 16, 2oo7 . Although I don`t quite believe that it would REALLY be on that day , I have to find myself a prom date . A lot of Seniors whom I know got quite rattled cuz they don`t have a prom date yet && they don`t want to be raffled . Woopsies .

So that little piece of news made everybody tense && nervous . Not me though , I just got a LITTLE nervous [ haha ] . Oh well . Just goes to show that Prom news affects a lot of people . Weh XD

Year - Ender .

As the year 2oo7 comes to a close , Imma review that year. .by month :) [ some of the descriptions are kinda random , so bear with it XD ]

JANUARY -- Hep ! 3rd year days. .To summarize this month in a sentence : The 31st of January caused me a "Big Apple Heartbreak" && feeling a "Never Let This Go" . [ for the people who can understand why. . @_@ ]

FEBRAURY -- Our batch experienced the first ever Junior-Senior Promenade . My promdate was Kevin Roa [ haha ] . The song "A New Tattoo" by Urbandub played that night . That memory`s still fresh in my mind :-" Thank God for Valentine`s day ! XD

MARCH -- `Twas the saddest month ever. .I made lots of new friends in the batch a year ahead of us [ the Seniors last year ] . I didn`t want them to graduate yet . At the time when I became close to them , March had to come . Errrr .
To mention a few of them :
• The 4-Borgians last year !! mga choyaxx at bugay :D
• Blue Knight people ;]]
• Seashores && Coffeecups band :)
• Some people from the Honors` Class [ mamee`s class ] XD

APRIL -- Mom was recovering from her illness at that time . So everything`s all happy happy :)

MAY -- The most unforgettable month of 2oo7 . Why ? Cuz I decided to join the C.A.T. Summer Training . [ May 7 , 2oo7 - May 27 , 2oo7 ] . Hella memorable . Lahbyoo COCC-01 ! :D

JUNE -- First month as a SENIOR . w00t w00t . Section : 4-St. Aloysius Gonzaga :)

JULY -- First month as a Unit Commander !! I miss my 3-Gonzaga cadets. .XD

AUGUST -- FIESTA ♥♥ Us C.A.T. officers performed the Silent Drill [ I`ll never forget the practices . Throwing of Rifles ! hahaha XD ] . w00t !! We also ran the Jail Booth XD

SEPTEMBER -- First batch of C.S.I.P. [ I.T. -- grades 5 && 6 ] . 4-Gonzaga`s RETREAT !!! Hella unforgettable [ Injan Injan , Room J XD ] Also , September 22 : BB`s Monthsary ^^ . Spansbab. . .EEEWWW :P

OCTOBER -- Feeling the stressure of being a Senior . wooh :-"

I hated the Sportsfest cuz of Chris Tiu :P Loved it cuz the "Tres Marias" got reunited :]]

Exams Schmamsss part II .

I don`t want to study for Econ. . .So many topics XD Newaii . An overview of today`s exams :


FILIPINO -- errr , okay . Quite easy && that`s good news for me cuz I didn`t quite study >:) "Bakit may uwak?!?!" HAHA XD

PHYSUX , i mean PHYSICS -- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH . I didn`t get to finish the Problem Solving . I also didn`t get to answer two questions in the Simple Problem Solving . Oh well . Curse you Physux ! XD

I.T. -- super okaaaaaaaaaaaay :D except I forgot bowt the MOD though . It sucks -____-"

• Math --- oh gehd . I remember what I said before the exam started: "I love math" . The reason : I was solving && stuff && I got correct answers so I felt happy . But when I looked at the problem solving of the exam [ && some of the questions in the multiple choice part as well ] , my face fell . I was like "Woah." I literally "hanged" when I read the question . Soooooooo. . .My conclusion is : I DON`T HAVE A FUTURE IN MATH && I HATE MATH [ XD ] . Imma take up Accountancy in college pa naman . So. . . .Rak en Rol !!!

Finally !! I made a serious blog post [ or is it really ? ] . Oh well . I just want to share what are the current happenings in my so-called life XD


FAMILY FEUD. .&& THEN SOME .
It`s been proven already that in an ordinary household , conflicts can never be avoided . It`s somewhat like a protocol already @_@ Anyway. . .In the Martinez household , things are getting a bit better . But the "cold war" between my eldest bro && my dad is still raging . I don`t know what are the plans of my eldest bro right now . I think he`s gonna find a job. .For goodness sake , he`s already 24 years old && still , he hasn`t taken the board exam . Oh well -___-"

My mom && dad are getting along well though . It`s almost their silver anniversary this January . Yey ! But that means I have to dress up && stuff again . But oh well . I`d do it for them. . XD


IN SICKNESS && IN HEALTH .
I admit , there are friends of mine who are really sickly [ You know who you are >.< ] . She recently got checked up in the hospital && she recently discovered that she has a new 'disease' . She told me she wanted to die already cuz she can`t take the pain anymore. .But I told her not to let go , cuz WE`RE still here . As of now , she`s feeling better . I just realized that married couples are not the only ones who should look after each other through sickness && in health , FRIENDS SHOULD TOO (: *to that 'she': lahbyoo . keep on holding on :]*


I CAN`T BE THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. . .CUZ I AM THE VAMPIRE .
Ugh . For the past month , I`ve been experiencing more && more of my stupid insomnia . I usually sleep at 1 A.M. because of it :( I don`t want to take any medication . Errrrrr . My insomnia isn`t helping me at all . On school days , I usually become sleepy during Math period . Damn . I can`t afford to sleep during that period cuz I really need to make my Math grade a little higher . Stupid , stupid , stupid insomnia X(

Well , what my college friends told me is true : Senior life is busy , tiring && difficult . Nowadays , I`ve been having difficulty in balancing my time . Originally , I don`t have good time management && that just adds to my problems . I cram more && more these days . && it sucks . Errrrr :-/

Around August / September , I`ve been having doubts on what course I would take up in College . Damn !! I had already decided last year that I would take up Accountancy . But just my luck , my heart wants to take up Com.Sci. && Law too . So what the heck .
